Greetings internet sailor, allow me to introduce my self. I go by the name of Randy "Otherworldly" Pando. I'm an artist, both visually and musically.
In terms of the visual arts, I like to draw with pencil and paper, and every so often i will paint with acrylic on canvas. My visual style is (for the most part) surrealism. For my drawings, I draw things in a sometimes semi-realistic style sometimes cartoony style, and then I shade it with cross-hatching. I don't really hve a set in stone style for my acrylic paintings, but just like my drawings, I paint sometimes semi-realistically and sometimes cartoony, then I shade it by adding a darker color to the lighter color and then blending them together. Really, I just do the best i can when it comes to painting.
In terms of my musical works, I do music in the style of "Vaporwave". What is Vaporwave, you ask? Vaporwave is a musical genre and art movement derived from the late 2000s to early 2010s. It usually takes inspiration from 1980's to 1990's pop culture and consumerism. The genre is known for it's slowed down, chopped up, and lopped samples of vintage Jazz or Pop music. But the genre isn't just limited to that, there are also sample-free Vaporwave tracks. all of these tropes are used to create a dreamy, ethereal, 80's-esque atmosphere. My dream is to extend the Vaporwave genre into uncharted teritory, styles of the genre in which nobody has seen before.
Also, let this serve as a disclaimer. This site is still under construction and will remain under construction for a long, long time. So yeah, there's that i guess.
